There are youth classes for Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
Sunday mornings from 9:15 - 10:15 am, our young people gather in the Youth Room. They use the Enduring Faith curriculum and interspersed with short stories from Higher Things as they learn how to defend their faith. They are prepared to state what they believe about the Bible and why. Thoughtful class discussions get the students brainstorming about how to share their faith with others.
Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 pm, our High School Youth gather in the Youth Room and work through The Calling, an apologetics curriculum which is designed to educate them on one's vocation and what that means in terms of living out our lives in our various and overlapping vocational arenas - family, professional, community, and congregational. Throughout the study, what the true meaning of "success" is for a Christian is examined to help the reader discover and live out the life that God uniquely created for them.
Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 pm, our 7th & 8th graders meet in the Church Parlor with our pastor to learn and grow in our faith and practice as we study Luther's Small Catechism. At the end of the 8th grade year, students proclaim their faith before the congregation and are confirmed into the Communion membership of our congregation.
